Privacy at a glance: Mergo keeps your games, scores and stats on your device. There is no account, we run no servers, and we never see or sell your data. The only third-party data collection comes from Google AdMob, which shows the ads that keep Mergo free.

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Snow Line Software ("we," "our," or "us") handles information when you use Mergo: 2048 Number Puzzle (the "App") on your iPhone.

The App does not require an account, does not connect to our servers, and does not send your games, scores or statistics to us or anyone else. The only exception is the advertising described in Sections 5 and 6.

5.1 Google AdMob

This data is collected and processed by Google under its own privacy policy. It does not include anything you enter in the App.

5.2 Third-party policies

6.1 Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the App shows Google's consent form on first launch. It explains how your data is used for advertising and lets you accept, refuse or choose specific purposes. Where consent is required and you do not give it, ads are limited to non-personalized ads.

You can change your choice at any time in Mergo › Settings › Ad Privacy Choices.

6.2 App Tracking Transparency

iOS may ask whether you allow Mergo to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. If you choose Ask App Not to Track, the Advertising Identifier is not shared and ads are not personalized based on it. Your choice never affects how the App works.

To change it later: iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking › Mergo.

6.3 Other ways to limit ad personalization

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent or trade your information. Apart from the advertising data flow between your device and Google described above, no data leaves the App. We have no access to that advertising data in a form that identifies you.

Using the Challenge a Friend button shares a link and your best score only with the app or person you choose.

8. Your Rights

All App data is on your device. You can view your scores and stats in the App, or remove everything by deleting the App.

8.2 Advertising controls

Because we hold no personal data ourselves, requests about advertising data are best directed to Google through its privacy tools. You can still contact us (see Section 11) and we will help where we can.
