Introduction

Testy helps you easily create and change testing tasks for your testers.

Adding test tasks

In order to get to the test tasks panel you need to click the Test tasks button as below

It is possible to:

• Add new tasks
• Check and solve existing tasks (by clicking on top of an existing task)
• Delete tasks. Either by clicking the X button that appears when hovering on top of a task, or by clicking the thrash icon which allows removing all tasks

Note that all these tasks are subject to the permission that the current user as seen in the next chapter. The permissions are indicated as badges at the footer of the panel: red means that the permission is missing, or green if the operation is allowed.

Permissions

Testy has a complex and complete mechanism of permissions that allows the administrator to assign granular permissions to users. This is achieved by assigning groups for the following possible operations

• Create tasks
• Check tasks -- complete or undo tasks
• Delete tasks
